Overview & Reviews
Audi's rugged allroad quattro receives no changes, but the options list has been simplified. Rather than offering various "convenience," "preferred" and "warm weather" packages, a lengthy list of desirable features, including leather, xenons, sunroof and auto-dimming mirrors have been bundled into a handful of premium packages. A cold weather package includes front and rear seat heaters with a ski sack. The Parktronic parking assist system is now a stand-alone extra, and the rear-facing third-row seat has been deleted from the options list. Finally, for those who find the allroad's twin turbo V6 wanting, Audi is expected to introduce its 4.2-liter V8 sometime in the 2003 calendar year.
- Elegant interior, powerful twin-turbo V6, flexibility of adjustable-height suspension, competent off-road performance.
- High base price, turbo lag, suspension can be harsh over bumps, lousy fuel economy in city driving.

Car gets lost in comparison - 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro
By audiconvert - December 23 - 10:00 amI am a wagon fan. We used to drive Volvos, but shifted to Audis after numerous test drives. The Audi Allroad is the most complete car we have had. Great interior and exterior, great sound system, fun engine, great versatility because of the pneumatics that allow you to increase clearance at the touch of a button, the only downside is very average gas mileage and some parts problems from third- parties. Having had both, there is no comparison between this car and the VolvoXC70 (which is a great car) - the Allroad is just better -- more fun, more capable. If I had to have only one car (and didnt need a third row of seats) this would be it.

Snow Snow Snow - 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro
By ctbass - November 21 - 2:00 amI just survived the Denver blizzard of 2003. I had to drive in a foot and half of wet, heavy snow. I raised the suspension to the top and drove throught the crud with ease. As I passed the abandoned suburbans and jeeps I asked myself, "Where are the cameras? What a commercial for Audi this would be!!!"

I love this car! - 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro
By jonfin - October 10 - 2:00 amWe were looking for a car to take the place of our Merecedes wagon -- one with more creature comforts (cupholders, a decent air conditioner etc.), yet being able to handle as well as a Mercedes. The allroad fit our needs perfectly. It is fast: 250 hp, twin turbo. It is slightly higher than a tradional car, so the visibility is better. It is luxurious inside, its very responsive and its a kick to drive. What more could you ask for?

Best Car On the Road - 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro
By peev - July 17 - 2:00 amI bought this because my boyfriend has an A4. Is he jealous now! Not only is the bi-turbo engine extremely fast, but the car handles better than any SUV Ive ever driven on rugged Colorado mountain roads. It is by far the best car Ive ever had the pleasure of owning. And its good lookin to boot!
